How do I cancel a report?

The purpose of the reporting system is to allow you to notify both the Idealist staff and other Idealist users of problematic site content (i.e. content that is inappropriate, inaccurate, etc.). You should not report or "flag" opportunities that interest you, organizations that you support, or individuals that you wish to contact.
Moreover, we advise against flagging your own content. If you see a problem with your own content and need help to access or update it, please get in touch with the Idealist staff via the Contact Us section of our site.
If you accidentally misreport content or notice that content that you reported has been updated to correct the problem, you can cancel your report by logging in to your member account, searching for the reported content, and clicking on the link to "remove your report."
